Jolly Pumpkin Biere De Mars
Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales
Dexter, MI

Since my first sips of a Jolly Pumpkin brew at their brewery and later at a hillbilly campsite I've always thought, "If only there wasn't this damnation to spice-rackian purgatory I would like this beer so much more." As I've drunk more of their offerings and tasted many different craft brews I've come to appreciate and enjoy the extra zest as the unique qualifier which make JP the best brewery hither and thither. So comes this concoction and my opinion has come full circum: NOT ENOUGH SPICE! Mildly spicy with a sour ball plunked into the pituitary. Maybe it's just more the sourness than the lack of spice as there is a whirling of firey tendrils in the glass after every drink. Anyhow, a very well-balanced and excellent drink when I'd rather it be over-the-top.
