Budweiser American Ale
Anheuser-Busch, Inc.
St. Louis, MO
I've shoveled enough bullshit in this blog and so after shoveling some snow tonight I thought, "Man, a beer sounds good." Seeing as I only have two hop monsters still sitting in the bottom of the fridge from a year or so ago, I decided to head out to the local 7-11 and see what kind of swill I could come up with at midnight. DING! Budweiser. Except this 1 pint 6 fl. oz. bottle of Budweiser American Ale isn't the typical vinegar water the ImBev step-sister generally brews up. This handsome looker is more or less a pale-amber ale hybrid with more of the latter's DNA and only minor characteristics of the much adored pale ale citrus grain h2o. This suits my sissy soul just fine. Not that I'm a huge fan of this beer but if it's between this and the standard fare convenient store stock this is the sure bet. I mean, I could go for a Heineken but I'd just as well splash my big hairy tongue into a urinal than ever drink one of those again.
